Marketing Consultant

Basic Function: Responsible for performing research and providing insights regarding the market, trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, and current campaigns.
 
Typical duties/responsibilities for marketing analysis may include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
Review marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, threats and related issues. Obtain information from customers to determine their requirements, attitudes, impact of regulations, and other information that may affect marketing strategies.
 
Perform extensive market research. Analyze and prepare reports summarizing market data, competitive landscape, and customer segmentation.
 
Assist in developing target strategies for target segments.
 
Support business lines in developing market strategies.
 
Manage industry associations, representing the company  as needed.
 
Track customer segmentation and progress within SalesForce.
 
Support Director of Sales & Marketing with strategic initiatives relative to consulting work.
 
Examine a campaign’s return on investment.
 
Create questionnaires and surveys.
 
Support the Channel Manager with managing the channel program including database maintenance, contracts, and onboarding of new members.
 
 
Complexity of Tasks: Requires understanding of marketing practices and a basic knowledge of related Company policies. Interfacing with internal and external groups, soliciting and providing information require strong communication skills. Impact of errors is likely to be limited as work is typically reviewed for accuracy.
 
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field plus up to 2 years of experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
