Controls Hardware Designer/Engineer
Must be knowledgeable in the application of controls design and build practices used in industrial automation. This includes electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and water systems. Proficient at creating hardware designs in AutoCAD and e-PLAN, performing basic controls calculations, checking hardware designs and preparing BOM release documents.
Bachelor’s degree (BS) in electrical engineering, 2 to 4 years related experience in welding and assembly automation, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiar with Ford, Chrysler, G.M. and Tier 1 Supplier specifications. Familiar with aerospace specifications is a plus.
Experience with Rockwell GuardLogix, ControlLogix, DeviceNet, Ethernet IP, Siemens S7 and ProfiNet.
