NOTE: THERE WILL BE ON THE JOB TRAINING BUT CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXP IN WELDING!
TRAINING WILL BE ON 1ST SHIFT MON-FRI 7:30AM-3:30PM (FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS).

Welding is a joining process in which metals, or sometimes plastics, are heated, melted and mixed to produce a joint with properties similar to those of the materials being joined. There are three main components needed to create a weld. These are: A heat source such as an electric arc, a flame, pressure, or friction.

Responsibilities:
Operating a multitude of welding equipment.
Working primarily on aluminum, steel, and galvanneal requiring a high grade of skill.
Inspect materials or structures requiring welding.
Monitoring processes while staying aware of overheating levels and safety.

Requirements:
Read blueprints and weld metals according to customer or employer requirements.
Perform set up of machine.
Perform preventative maintenance as required.
Examine created welds to check for defects/flaws.
Perform safety and quality checks.
Work and adhere to all safety policies

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
1+ Years of experience in welding.
