- Conduct work, comply with and enforce all company, local, state, and federal Safety and Health Rules
- Diagnose and correct problems with the molding processes, including molds, set ups, automation, etc.
- Recommend tooling changes that will improve the process capability.
- Monitor and adjust molding parameters to ensure parts are produced according to recorded process and quality level.
- Perform minor record keeping tasks. This includes, but may not be limited to, recording cavitation levels, downtime reasons, machine logs, process adjustment notations Event Log, process verification sheets, etc.
- Do regular TPM sheets for injection molding machines.
- Strive to be a team player of our organization, displaying a cooperative and positive attitude towards our Company, including its policies, procedures, and employees.
- Trouble shoot machine, thermolator, dryer or process issues relating to manufacturing process.
- Fill out maintenance work orders for issues with machine, thermolator or dryer issues that they cannot resolve.
- Follow escalation procedure for issues that they cannot resolve.
- Perform Mold changes and machine start-ups as needed.
- Make sure operators are at their scheduled machine.
- See that operators are properly trained and have the tools needed to complete their tasks.
- Verify Production sheets are filled out correctly and match MES system.
- Relieve operators for break if needed.
- Spot check parts hourly to ensure quality parts are being produced.
- Spot check parts to make sure they are labeled correctly and in the correct location.
- Count, Tote and label parts that run in the automatic machines.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary.
