Job Description:
The CAD/Controls Designer is directly responsible for design of sequencing, safety circuitry and graphic interfaces. The CAD/ Controls Designer will work with cross functional groups as well as support other engineering groups to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical controls systems for fluid handling equipment
- Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts and bill of materials
- Attend internal and external design reviews
- Assist with startup and debug systems at office
- Partner with skilled trades during build of equipment
- Interface with Mechanical Design Team during design phase
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Skills/Experience
Required:
- Minimum of three years Electrical Controls Design experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and EPLAN
- Pneumatic circuitry design experience
- Microsoft Office
- Ability to size electrical components effectively
- Ability to read and understand customer specifications and code requirements
- Valid driver’s license and passport
