ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet employees, contractors, and visitors as they arrive.
Administer, interpret and, record temperature of all individuals entering our facilities using digital temporal devices according to manufacturer’s instructions and established protocol.
Administer a questionnaire for all individuals entering our facility surrounding their recent health aspects, recent health aspects of those they have been in close contact with, and their recent travel.
Determine based on the screening protocol if individuals are able to gain admittance to the facility, and if not, provide them clear direction on next steps they should take.
Document additional relevant information as needed and escalate any concerns to the Environmental Health & Safety Manager as well as the overall Management team as required per protocol.
Ensure employees, contractors, and visitors understand PPE expectations in order to enter the facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Medical Screening, Medical Assistant, or EMT experience preferred.
BLS-CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Equivalent) is preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
General understanding of computers and ability to input data in an accurate and efficient manner.
Familiarity with HIPAA obligations, confidentiality and personal health information (PHI) data management.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors and visitors including explaining the results and decisions surrounding these procedures.
