Job Description:

• Assist in various tasks within the metal fabrication shop under the direction of supervisors and skilled workers.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment such as grinders, saws, drills, and measuring devices.
• Load and unload materials, parts, or products manually or with the use of equipment.
• Clean and prepare work areas, tools, and equipment for use.
• Perform assembly tasks as directed, which may include fitting, welding preparation, or finishing work.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support other team members in completing tasks efficiently and meeting production goals.
• Occasionally assist in material handling or inventory tasks as required.
• Learn and develop skills in metal fabrication techniques and processes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Working Conditions:

• Work is typically performed indoors in a metal fabrication shop environment.
