Electrical Engineering Technician

The industry leader for quality control and process optimization equipment utilized in the Pulp and Paper Industry is seeking experienced Engineering Technician for their Westerville, Ohio repair center. The successful candidate must possess solid electro-mechanical technical abilities as well as demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration and repair capabilities.
Service and repair activities must be performed within established ISO certified policies and procedures, and documented accordingly.

A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent work / military experience is required along with a minimum of 5 years related field service support. Network support, Computer repair and OS restoration as well as software configuration is preferred. Experience using calibration and electronic test equipment is desired. General software knowledge a must (Win7/10, MS Word, MS Excel). The candidate will require the skills to troubleshoot various electronic boards to component level and replace components, including through-hole and surface mount to IPC-A-610 standards.

Additional requirements include: ability to work overtime as necessary to meet customer’s needs and a desire to participate in continuing education as necessary to meet customer’s and company needs.
