Internal Sales Coordinator

Responsible for internal sales activities. Coordinate and track RFQ activities. Follow, maintain, and transfer the given process to USMCA organization. Support and coordinate all quote activities in USMCA and global quotes. Maintain communication to the sales and program management organization in HQ.

  • Champion Request for Quote (RFQ) activities, including but not limited to: coordinating and storing documents, notifying team members, confirming content, arranging feasibility, Checklist A and kickoff meetings, track due dates.
  • Receive, store, review, and maintain customer contracts and purchase orders and distribute to corporate and plant teams. Review with Finance Team on request.
  • Maintain sales price overview with the North America plants and make sure all sales prices match customer contract.
  • Enter new business quotes/actions in Customer Portals for North America
  • Update SAP system with new opportunities for internal quotes; Maintain part and tooling pricing for RFQs and active programs.
  • Maintain sales planning in ZTYP.
  • Track tooling invoicing and payment
  • Support and coordinate customer trade shows and exhibitions
  • Keep customer sales presentation up-to-date.
  • Support Road Map activities with data of USMCA projects
  • Prepare Engineering change quote letters to customers, keep department record of all quotations to customer incl., but not limited to engineering changes.
  • Prepare RFQ quote letter to customer after approval from responsible Sales Manager
  • Support customer visits (e.g. arrange meetings, conference rooms, refreshments)
  • Manage invoicing and payment schedules to costumers and report delays to Manager.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or Associates degree with equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in administration or coordination in a medium to high volume.
  • Manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience and solid understanding of what contract language means and general understanding of the principles of contract interpretation.
  • Experience using SAP or similar resource planning systems.
