Robot Technician
Auburn Hills, Michigan1. The candidate should be capable of jogging ABB robots and connecting to robot controllers via laptop
2. Should be able to handle regular robot applications like material handling, external axis
3. Capable of reading mechanical and electrical drawings
4. Ability to troubleshoot, and debug recurring systems
Domain Skills
1. Good attention to detail and quality
2. Knowledge of diagnostics and trouble shooting analysis
3. Familiar with robot commissioning.
4. Applications material handling and external axis.
5. Integrate, setup, and configure external controls equipment like sensors, I/O modules and VFD's.
6. Robot safety circuits.
Software Skills
1. Computer literate
2. Working knowledge of Siemens / Rockwell PLC .
3. Knowledge of ABB Robots is advantageous and desirable
4. Good in MS Office tools
5. Efficient in project Tracking, Reporting & Project Execution.
1. Organized & systematic in work.
2. Good communication skills (Written & Oral)
3. Team player.
2-3 years of experience. BE in Mechanical/Electronics preferred
Industry: System Integrators and Automotive or System Integrators
Projects: Commissioning EOAT's
Installation & commissioning of Robotic applications
Target Companies: Ex ABB, Motoman, FANUC, PARI, Difacto Automation
A minimum of 1 year experience in robot, and automation. Must posses the ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings. Basic knowledge of pneumatics is required. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must posses strong verbal and written communication skills.
