IS Functional Analyst

Cary, North Carolina
Works with project delivery to understand technical business requirements and data, translating business requirements into technical configuration tasks, and building out the required transforms, models, allocations and metrics.



Advise project delivery on approaches to Enterprise Integration service design, build, delivery and test ensuring adherence to best practise and IS delivery framework.



Supports the Run Organization in the incident and problem resolution when functional verification is required.



Works with various Business and IS stakeholders to design effective solutions that drive business value and ensures stakeholder alignment for the Integration Domain’s solution approach.





Supports Level 3 services to Application Operations team for functional support.

Troubleshoots solution configuration, product and/or performance issues.





Basic Qualifications:

• More than 5 years of IS experience within the relevant IS domain

• Excellent experience in translating business requirements into IS capabilities and solutions

• Excellent experience in objectively evaluating IS solutions and making recommendations

• Good analytical skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies

• Strong experience in leading IS people who do not report directly

• Solid experience in project planning and execution as well as understanding or anticipating the economic aspects of system management and life cycle

• Solid experience of identifying and resolving issues between team members or other teams

• Degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Integration process modeling

• Integration transformation specifications

• Basic technical skills and applied knowledge in the following areas:

o Microsoft BizTalk Server

o XML

o EDI (X12 and EDIFACT)

o Message queueing

o Connectivity methods (http, https, ftp, ftps, sftp, etc.)

o API Management solutions

o SAP IDOC and RFC



Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years application integration development experience

• 2+ years of API development

• Proficient technical skills and applied knowledge in the following areas:

o Microsoft BizTalk Server

o GenTran EDI

o MuleSoft

o SAP IDOC and RFC

o Message queueing techniques

o Integration design patterns

• Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on the business’ needs.

• Ability to communication effectively.

• Strong Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail / Detail-Oriented.

• Customer/Client Oriented.

• Self-Starter/Self-Learning.

• Ability to identify problems and address them to resolution.
