Product Specialist

The Product Specialist tracks and maintains product for assigned vehicle programs. The objective is to provide support to the engineering process for assigned programs. Pulls and tracks revision levels to product/LD’S/Welding Maintains product tracking for each program Prepares product for the design group and simulation Creates and maintains parts list Populates and maintains PLM doc tree Support design, simulation, weld engineering and PE’s Creates validation charts, Patch Data for all N/C Block that we are given Assists in weld studies/weld matrix Understand and follows safety and environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job This job has no managerial responsibilities Occasional offsite travel to local suppliers may be necessary to support Work Environment- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Language Skills- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine report and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization Mathematical Skills- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
